Leyla Mitchell

With an edge of darkness and a note of humour, Leyla uses a multitude of mediums - visually, conceptually, and performatively - to explore identity, psychological phenomena, and the complex relationship between humans and nature, reality and fantasy.

A Visual Arts graduate of Camosun College, Leyla currently resides in Victoria, BC, studying art and other mysteries of life. Her work has been showcased at locations including Open Space Gallery, Ministry of Casual Living, Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria, and Market Square
